New to Macrobiotics

New to macrobiotics and blogging...I am interested in suggestions of how to get started. I have recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and my neuro suggests watchful waiting. I have never been one to sit on my hands, so I want to be active in my role to health. My next mri is in February, I would love to see the tumor shrink by then! Any help would be much appreciated.

  1. I'll remail you with a list of the top 5 MB books for healing. I recommend that you contact Warren Kramer in the Boston area. He is probably the foremost macrobiotic consultant in the US and can get you started on a healing diet. There are many stories of the effectiveness of MB diets in healing illness, so in my view it's worth giving it a very serious try. Jinji in Austin TX

  3. I also recommend long-time counselors, authors and teachers Alex Jack and Ed Esko. Search Amazon for Alex Jack macrobiotics to see what he's written.
